‘Verity’ – Colleen Hoover

I really enjoyed Verity by Colleen Hoover. The blurb on the back of the book says that “It will keep you up all night, and a twist that will leave you reeling”, which is incredibly accurate.

Lowen Ashleigh, a writer who is struggling for money, accepts a life changing offer from Jeremy, the husband of a high profile writer, Verity Crawford, to complete that writer’s remaining books. What Lowen finds in Verity’s office is not just notes and outlines to use to complete the job she was hired for. The revelations in the unfinished autobiography are dark and disturbing and Lowen keeps them secret from Jeremy. This book had me on edge on many occasions.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre. It was my first book by this author, but, I will now actively seek out more of her work.
